There is no fixed free-release date: I start releasing a story arc to the free platforms when that arc is done.
Chapters change while an arc is in progress
Patreon chapters are living drafts of the current story arcs. As the arc evolves, I go back and change things: names, places, dialogue, small plot beats. That is normal.
The “proper” public release, the version that settles onto this site and the other free platforms, starts when the arc is finished. Until then, treat what you read on Patreon as the working version, not the final one.
Feedback from patrons is part of that process. If something feels off, saying so helps.
Rewriting Arc 1
I’m also rewriting Arc 1 on Patreon for review and feedback. The long goal is a book: rewritten Arc 1 plus Arc 2.
The early chapters on this site (and on Reddit, Substack, and elsewhere) were written when the series was still finding its voice. Characters, tone, and how the world works have moved on. The rewrite is an effort to bring those starting chapters in line with the series that is live now, so the beginning matches what Mia, Lin, Leah, and the rest actually became.
These rewrite chapters are not the same text as the Arc 1 chapters already on this site. The free Arc 1 here stays as it is for now. The rewrite lives on Patreon while it’s being shaped. It won’t be pushed chapter-by-chapter to Reddit. When the book is ready, this site will get a proper book page; the web serial and the book can coexist.
