Hi, I’m Kat. I write Bad Decisions: a messy, jealous, bisexual erotic romance, told in an ongoing serial. It’s about intimacy, friendship, bad timing, and the choices that get harder to undo once everyone starts being honest.
This is adult fiction, for readers 18 and over only. The chapters are sexually explicit.
Why I write
I started writing these stories because I wanted a challenge. My inspiration came from stories on Reddit, and I wondered whether I could do it too. I’ve written other things in the past and always found writing a good creative outlet, but this has been especially fun, most of all seeing how readers respond.
The story
Mia Williams is 25, lives in a small apartment in Astoria with her best friend Lin, and has a perfectly good arrangement going: a few weeks after breaking up with Dan, she’s still sleeping with him. Then she finds out Lin is sleeping with him too.
What starts as a rivalry, with ground rules and plenty of spite, turns into something Mia didn’t see coming. And then there’s Leah: polished, organised, very used to getting her way, and impossible to read.
Mia tells most of the story herself, in her own unfiltered voice. Now and then Lin gets to tell her side.
